I received my license to cut hair fresh out of cosmetology school in my senior year of high school. I took a job at a local hair salon and I knew right away I was not interested in the fast paced drama filled world of traditional hairdressing . I wanted something that was more personal and would require a different set of skills. It didn’t take me long to realize that the hair replacement industry is where I needed to be!
I have been doing hair replacement since 1991. I have been perfecting my craft through the years to give my clients the very best hair replacement solutions to meet their needs as well as their budget,
WITH NO CONTRACTS or HIDDEN FEES!
We have developed a wonderful relationship with all of our clients providing a warm inviting atmosphere, private rooms and most importantly an ear. Without an ear we cannot hear, and without hearing, we cannot listen to what our client are saying to determine what they need. That’s what you will receive when you meet us. We are not going to tell you what you need, we are going to hear what you want and help you reach your hair goals.
OUR HISTORY
I started working here when I was 17 years old! On my first day, I felt so nervous but my future co worker Laura, approached me as if she knew me for years, turns out her nephew was dating my cousin! Even though she didn’t actually know me, she made it seem as if she did.
After I was hired, on my first day I was washing a clients hair when suddenly the handle broke off the shampoo bowl! I was mortified and afraid that that would be my first and last day working here but my my boss was a good sport about it and simply made a joke about how I didn’t know my own strength lol
Over the next few years I started to developed my skills by watching my boss and mentor the late William Fitzsimmons (aka Billy Fitz) I’d watch at his doorway while he performed his “installations” picking up on his techniques and hairpiece terminology. I slowly incorporated what I learned from him and developed into the experienced technician I’ve become today. Billy never wanted to admit it but he actually picked up a few tricks from me too…
Billy saw the talent and vision I had for the business and was eager for me to continue is legacy and watch it succeed after he retired. Sadly he passed away before I could show him. I can only hope and pray that he is here in spirit and sees how I am going to turn this tired old place into something he could only dream of.
We may not serve coffee and donuts or have the classiest place in town but what our salon lacks in curb appeal makes up for it in the personalization and attention to detail that I provide to each and every one of my clients.
I hope you will take a moment to give me a shot and see what I can offer you.
